Can you really withdraw bitcoin to the external bitcoin address from waves platform that you have tried just today?
I tried it yesterday and up to now, I can't. The pop up keeps disappearing every time I click "WITHDRAW" button.

This is a know bug with Google Chrome. Please use an online version - https://waveswallet.io with firefox or google chrome (try to reload your wallet).
And please use only WITHDRAW button for external Bitcoin network

I'm not sure why you are still having difficulties withdrawing. I can answer your second question about the attachment field. It is used for some transactions (usually Waves related to direct funds to a certain wallet), but in this case you don't need to include anything. You can leave it blank.
