Gambling serves as a form of entertainment for me, so It does helps me get my mind off stressful issues that arise from my job in the day, but I would always remind myself to gamble what I can afford to lose, and sometimes when I got really lucky on a winning streak, I would withdraw the winnings out and use the money to purchase all the items I listed out in my shopping list 
Same with you, I can said that gambling is helpful in my life by relaxing and an entertainment. But some times I can't control myself to play more if I have allot of money and some times I turn to greediness. Gambling is interesting things, it depends in you on how you manage the gambling in your life but never used this as job, why? Because money from gambling is easy to consume, more losing than winning, possible to turn in debt at the end or if you lose too much it gives a problem in our health also. My point is even gambling gives a profit in our life in the end we will turn to zero.
