Yes, you can watch the balance in MyEtherWallet for example. Or Parity.So I suppose this is contract address to add SNC token yep? -> 0xf4134146af2d511dd5ea8cdb1c4ac88c57d60404
If so you should post it somewhere here.
SNC tokens are already added to MEW, Parity, Mist so there is no need to add it manually.
I just contributed to the ICO via MetaMask, will I see my tokens after July 25th back in my Metamask account? Or do I have to go through the process of claiming and adding custom token?
If you do not see SNC tokens yet then you need to add it manually as custom token.
