Unless you have AMD cards, you should skip this tutorial.
AMD cards are not supported on new Linux distributions. Just saying, took me a week to figure that out

The tutorial is for ccminer, the miner for nvidia cards.
But new AMD cards are supported on linux. I am mining on RX480 on ubuntu 16.04.
Old cards such as the 280x is not supported, though.
