I received the following from Cryptopia support:
"We have been unable to resync the older DMB wallet, and the updated DMB wallet is not working. The Cryptopia Dev team has been working on resolving this for the past fortnight and have not been successful.
Unfortunately, as the update has effectively broken the DMB wallet, and the old wallet is no longer compatible with the network, we are now forced to delist this coin.
Any further support inquires and requests of compensation should now go directly to the DMB team. You can contact them through their website here - http://dmb.cryptoinfo.net/
