Saw this quote years ago and it still makes me chuckle. That's basically what religion is. Can't seem to stop the shoving it down the throat part though. That's how religion propagates itself. A large portion of people who are following a religion is largely due to being brought up into that religion.

Why assume Muslims are child molesters simply because catholics are?
You realize the catholic priests molesting children is directly caused by their prohibition against priests being married... right?
Do Muslim imams have a prohibition against marriage? No... hence, false equivalence
I think what Spendulus meant was that in case of Christian clerics, it's way easier to find the minimum number of abuses. Mostly because in most Christian-majority countries, the law has secularized.
I suppose if someone would be able to find the number of abuses committed by imams, it might equal those by priests. Or even exceed them.
