Nop, it will definitely not stake instantly! I think these days are over, the difficulty is rising and the inflation control is working too fine...
Had a look at my wallet, got a lot of 5k blocks waiting now since 30 days, also got some 7.5k blocks and they also chill around since 20 days!
Tomorrow i'll split some new blocks, maybe i can tell in around 10 days, which amount of coins will stake instant!(in our case, i would say plus 1 day is kind of instant)
Why there is such a long wait time before the coins start staking? I mean 9 days is way too long to wait to see some earning. Can we not reduce this by 1-2 days? Just a thought. Also the earning decision very much depends on the fact when we see some action on the wallet. When it is dead cold for days together, people tend to switch gears. This is human nature. Wait time on this coin got to reduce. Also there should be a quick FAQ guide on how to start staking under different black values and earn a good ROI.

I felt that way too, long time ago, 3 years or so. Now I see that Truck is a perfectly coded coin, with coin maturation balanced with network difficulty balanced with split block inflation control. Truck is not made for quick profit or pump and dump. Truck at its best is a virtual miner. You build your miner slowly with interest. Do the math someday and see what say a 100,000 truck looks like in 5 years compounding at 142% to 200 %. Factor in the growth of bitcoin. Even if truck never goes up a satoshi your little truckcoin mining machine will be staking $100s of not thousands of dollars a day for you.
Also, once you have lots of blocks forming over time you will be seeing staking rewards coming in everyday not just every 9 days. Just give it time.
