For a short term investment I think it is a really good idea ! Besides... It is down right now !
Litecoin is getting back the support from the community and the miners are getting increased in number and with the recent L3+ I think lots of people are trying to get as fast as possible this asic because it is very profitable and with the price increase the ROI can be reached within a record period of time.
If the bitcoin already activated the segiwt and I will throw my litecoin to buy bitcoin, How useless is litecoin after the bitcoin gets blocksize increase. But the hardfork of bitcoin will change everything in my mind. Especially with the demand of the litecoin itself.
