I can bet it wouldn't become zero. There may be a decrease in its popularity but that doesn't make it zero. Just hold on don't get panic, you will get good returns on your Bitcoins 
This is the safest strategy. I also save some of my savings for the future. I plan not to spend my coins for several years. I think that this will bring me a big profit
