Bears could not push down the buyers much lower than 2500$
I think this implies we will hit 3k very soon.

Not until the hardfork will happen, you know that the hardfork will make a lot of the traders to cashout their money and try to buy back again at the price of bitcoin will be lower than before the hardfork was happening.
There is a lot of the resistance, I may think that bitcoin will not reach new ATh in this year.
Never underestimate the recovery capacity of Bitcoin. And ATH isn't far away, just some hundreds more and it is broken again
