Is this software actually usable now in real world commerce case?
I have internet cafe that I want to switch to run on crypto, all transactions done through crypto. People give me cash, I give them Ark card/chip that they use to login to my computer terminals or pay for goods. I want my own chain to track all transactions. Ark seems like good use case for this, many other coins have seemed like they can do this as well but after actually trying to implement do not provide this functionality. What language is this in (edit: found javascript on their github)? Whitepaper reads like written by novice without any technicals.
yeah that's basically the kind of stuff you can use an ARK fork for.
You're talking shit about our whitepaper but can't seem to find all our work. Here's a list of languages we made compatible so developers have options for creating their projects.

https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-javaand of course JavaScript -
https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-jsark has the most comprehensive support for multiple languages and with our simple forking to your own blockchain, your forked chain gains the advantage of being able be programmed with these languages and also your token will also be able to be stored on the Ledger hardware wallet.
Don't talk crap about our whitepaper. We do more work than 99.7% of the projects in our space with 90% less waste. It might not be fancy shmancy but it's more legit than most even if it's not the prettiest.
come check out our slack and talk with real community devs who are working on tons of cool stuff for ark.
