Obviously, you're referring to a chain split, but then still, you'll just have 3BTC. Wink

Whatever chain split happens, there can be only one Bitcoin ~ the coins you will have sitting in the other (minor) chain, are nothing more than altcoins.

that is completely wrong.
if and when a chain split happens, any coin that has existed on the main chain (the chain that existed before the fork) will always be valid because any new chain is building on top of that chain. there is no "minor chain" here.

lets say you receive bitcoin on block #475095 (which was mined 14 minutes ago) and fork happens after a while on block #475500 and two chains exist. these two chains are building their blocks on top of previous blocks they both have the same block #0 to block #475500 but their blocks  #475501 and above are different.
