I believe that it is in the interest of all bitcoin users to keep bitcoin free from government influence.
I propose to add a blacklist of all addresses that are associated with government, so that no one can send bitcoin to or retrieve them from the blacklisted addresses. The bitcoin miners and clients should refuse to validate transactions containing a blacklisted address.
That will make bitcoin taxation harder if not impossible, and will make it cost prohibitive to seize and thus regulate bitcoin.
Every bitcoin client should be free to make a custom blacklist or download one from the internet.
It isn't a good idea at all. The community cannot for certain, determine which addresses belongs to the government. Bitcoin taxation is only incurred when it is declared and is paid in fiat. It isn't beneficial for Bitcoin to reject regulations.
Regulations can help Bitcoin instead of harming it.Miners are probably the most important factor here. If the miners were to implement such a rule, their farms would probably all be shut down.
Why does people hate regulations so much? I think it is becauss of tax but guys come on, it is our duty to pay taxes for the growth of our respective countries. Regulations are important to bring order and counter money launderings and frauds so that we can put those people behind the bars and not to freely do it. Try to research how Japan's government and Japanese people who have been using Bitcoin been doing which is great actually and is growing and blooming even more.
