I had a modem with my commodore 64, but could never figure out how to get in on the BBS scene. Every once in a while I'd get a number (not for pr0n) but I could basically never get into any I never had a PC until college since I couldn't afford. When I got there Pentium had just come out (with its floating point bug) and I used to collect people's old 286s, 386s, 486s and use those.

Am I the only one who misses setting IRQs and DMAs on ISA cards?
