Also you may want to consider what is more profitable to mine. If you mine something that is hard to get and the value isn't the greatest compared to mining something that is easier to get but the value on time spent mining is better then that might be the choice you go with. At least that's how I see it, for example if mining BTC for 10 days you get 1BTC out of it and it's worth $110 but mining LTC for 10 days and you get 50LTC at $3.75 each then you'll get $187 worth of coin. Coinotron.com will show you the profitability per each coin and I like to use it as a gauge of what I should be mining.
