They did have a Dos attack to contend with, but I've also been waiting 3 weeks for a response on verification

Try to re-send a support ticket to them. Since their mods are moved to help the suppport, i think you should get replied soon.
I have tried creating different support tickets, and that have not yet assigned for the past one month!
