We just released Phantom v1.1 with ssl support at testnet.
To update open the GUI, and browse to the 'Applications' page. Click Phantom and then 'uninstall' (Dapp masterpassword can be found in config.json).
After that click 'install' and wait for it to finish. Then "launch" to have your updated Phantom dapp, optionally over https.
