Token holders will be able to participate in governance of the art trades themselves. The consortium will include art and economic councils to help ensure proposed trades are good for the underlying value of the token from two perspectives: cultural (i.e., the value of the art collection will increase) and economic (i.e., the value of a token holder's Artcoin holdings will increase relative to the underlying collection).
