Option 1:
You can use the light wallet provided by jelurida (running on a VPS):

Option 2 (most secure):
You can also change this line (at nxt/conf/nxt-default.properties):
nxt.isLightClient=false
to
nxt.isLightClient=true
and you won't have to download the blockchain.
Your coins would be fully secure.
