When the wallet isn't running, open config.dat and change deterministic to 0.  Then save and start the wallet again.

I wasn't "in the vcash game" for long, is it changes something with wallets? Strange why doesn't sync my old wallet.

Huh, not sure why that would be happening, but if your old wallet still works, you can dumpprivkey addresses for the addresses with coins in them with the old wallet and then importprivkey yourprivkeys with the new wallet.  Then close the wallet, open config.dat, change rescan from 0 to 1, save, and start the wallet.

edit: You can also rescan by right-clicking the Vcash icon in the taskbar and going to Wallet -> rescan
