I have seen a lot of threads regarding directory.io and I know one should spend more than his lifetime to search for all addresses and to check if there is any balance in there.
Are private keys of hardware wallets addresses on that page or only software ones ?
Does your hardware wallet use an address (or addresses) beginning with a 1? If so, it will be on directory.io somewhere.

It doesn't matter what device the address is generated on, as directory.io just generates every possible non-P2SH (3 prefix) address and throws it out there.

Correct. directory.io publishes only bitcoin address that starts with "1". To give you a brief history, when directory.io started to list every bitcoin private key alongside its corresponding public address. this cause panic which some even speculate that it will cause the downfall of bitcoin, as a result it has somewhat affected the price negatively. However, I think this just proves how bitcoin protocol strength. It will take you years if you want to search directory.io and look for a matching private keys.

On a legit note, I was bored as shit sitting in this hotel room as I travel for work.

I found an address with exactly the miner fee by randomly searching http://btckey.space. I instantly ran down to the "news station" (What the UK calls a convenience store) and bought two scratch off lottery tickets, I didn't win, haha.

But I did stumble on an address with a balance...out of all these years....
