The market is falling is it the affect of the upcoming segwit? Or just a normal move in the market in which is the up and down of the price?? Is it ok to hold bitcoins in the exchanger? Can you help me???
Holding Bitcoin now is very good at the right wallet, but if it is in an online wallet, not a good idea.
On the other hand, depending on the amount or quantity of Bitcoin you are holding, u can use it to purchase altcoins and wait for it price increase.
I wouldn't advise to exchange your bitcoin to buy altcoins. Altcoins for me are much more volatile than bitcoin, you can suddenly lose as much as 80% of you choose the wrong coin when investing in an altcoin. If you have bitcoin, then simply hold on it and just wait till everything settles down after Aug 1.
Don't put all your bitcoin in a online wallet because you don't have control of the private keys, just transfer to Electrum which for me is one of the trusted wallets out there.
