Well, the majority has legalized it. I think that's what is important, that people are free to use bitcoins whenever they please.
Yes that was important that majority of county are involved using bitcoin. In my country, popularity of bitcoin is still increasing and government has an eye about it. There is already bank that exchange bitcoin into fiat and hoping that other county who banned it change their mind.
