But the good part said here is that EDG tokens would be needed to be used on the platform instead of ETH, and this is enough for the price to go high.

Agreed with you EDG will be main currency for this platform instead of ETH but the big fault was into that service provider of multisig. This is horrible to sound but I also EDG will stay strong because it has trusted and very secure code.
