Don't be silly. Far too many people are offering escrow services here when they have no good reason to be. If you haven't a long history of trades and people already haven't been asking you to escrow for them then you're not needed or qualified to be an escrow. Escrows are meant to be extremely reputable people who you can trust. You are neither.

This is just the negative side of the community. Honest people even don't get a chance to prove themselves.
In your first message, you have ('almost') labeled me as a scammer who will run away when he gains enough trust to hold bigger amounts.
This is just bullish, give people a chance to prove themselves. I'm not giving up because some respectful BTT members are cracking me down.
I'm here to learn in the first place and to earn some extra bucks in my spare time. I'm a very active freelancer with a 'close-to-nomadic' lifestyle. I prefer working at night, and Escrow offers me the freedom to work when I want. Yes, this is work for me.

Regards
EQ.

The negative side of the community is that it's rife with scammers doing anything they can to get a hold of others money any way they can. There have been half a dozen people over the last year alone who tried to offer such escrow services and quickly turned out to be scammers (though thankfully nobody was stupid enough to send them their money).

Now you'er giving me the label of a scammer. That's not how it works. Your mentality is just bullish.
Correct me when wrong, but the rank and trust doesn't say anything. You can' trust anybody here.
Even a top member can run away with a nice amount of money and never come back. Don't tell me it didn't happen.

So, give me the chance to build rep. Not many escrow'ers are willing to help with smaller amounts of $30 - 100.
If there are, please provide me some names. The lowest in the escrow thread is 0.01 BTC and almost all of them have stopped.

Yes, anyone can run off with money hence why you need to be a reputable and trustworthy member of the community to make that less likely to happen, not some naive newbie who just wants to make a quick buck. At best you're stupidly naive, at worst you're a straight up scammer who only has one intention. Honest people prove themselves over time. You don't just walk up to some random strangers and ask them to look after their money/child/car do you? And I would say there's more chance of you being a scammer than not. How do we know how to trust you? How do we know you're competent enough to provide a reliable service? We don't. If your name doesn't mean anything here then there's no good reason to trust you and you shouldn't be offering escrow services because the only thing you have to lose is the price you paid for the account.
