OP is trying to troll us. There is no a relationship between the Chester Bennington's death and waves. At least sasha still alive and the waves project will be well. So, forget it. What ever already done by chester bennington will never be related to the waves project. OP deserves to fail logic. 
Well there's a stupid question isn't it? People have been asking for years is Satoshi dead. There is no evidence at this point whether he is alive or dead and yet the price of Bitcoin has been completely unaffected by the fact. So why would you think that this would change the fact and the price of this coin?
