I don't have a ton of capital to invest, basically about $50 every 2 weeks. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on what I have going on.
My "strategy" is to invest in smaller coins in active development and hold them for a year+. I typically go for projects looking to decentralize the internet - like shift, Vizio, and Atmos. I got lucky and bought 35 ANS when it was a little over a dollar because I thought it was funny. I haven't bought anything else "funny" since.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should change here?
I guess you are doing good in your strategy, but I advice you to sell coins you buy already when you have a good sum of profit already even if you only held it for a month or so. Being greedy or being to late to sell minimizes one's possible profit in some cases. You are right in choosing projects that wants to decentralize the internet, but don't just stick with those type of coinsto maximize profit, look for coins that seeks to make daily life in cryptoworld easy or ones that have real world news.
