I've been thinking about the applicability of the token and the growth abilities in terms of x5 or x10. I'm wondering if thats possible.

I think 5x is doable by the end of the year. The way how they handled their ICO was very professional. This company is well organized and well run by a savvy CEO.

But what about the benefit/usage of the token? Can the project itself (nog just the organization) achieve x5 or x10?

CVC can be used in many ways in Civic ecosystem:

For example, if we want to run a background check you will pay with CVC tokens in lieu of USD. You can apply this to applying to a bank loan, credit report, and other third party service that build on top of Civic.

The good thing about Civic ecosystem once the information is stored within the ecosystem it can be quickly retrieve so a background check will be instant.

I think the first real usages of Civic will be in the crypto space, specifically for things like KYC. I know some of the gambling tokens like FunFair have suggested it could be used for this purpose to cheaply and effortlessly perform the necessary KYC as required by each operator and jurisdiction.

I would agree. In near the future with the need of verification due to government regulations Civic can also play an important role. I believe each country will have their own criteria just like how it works now.
