I once ate some bad fish and got really sick for about 3 days. The fact is I didn't go out and tell anybody about it I didn't keep it a secret but I didn't announce it to the world that I'd made some huge mistake. So why exactly are you on here telling everybody about your huge mistake?

Any investment can be a mistake or spot on, even with all the good/bad hints. The thing is I do think ETH is going to surge, why? Big network effect, lots of individual miners, among the best cryptos to mine, nice tech behind it, intelligent leader and researchers, etc.
About the lag in the network caused by ICOs, what I think is that this should not be a reason to get scared and sell eth. There was/is a HUGE load of transactions during ICOs, literally billions of tokens moving around, so it is expected that some beforehand unknown problems might appear. Ethereum competitors were never tested like this because they are not even fully working
