Just 11 runs needed from 2 overs. Hopefully they get it but chances are less as England are attacking and trying their best to stop them from making the required runs. But runs are still less and Sharma is playing well. A four or six can save them probably and a wicket will make them lose the game.
Once again it is proved that anything can happen in a cricket match. It must have been an easy win for Indians but I guess Indian women underestimated English players and paid the price. England is the new world champion now.
You are right about being underestimated. The English were serious underdogs for this one, it was a thrilling final, a very enjoyable match and I made some btc to boot. I was convinced 228 was too low a score and India seemed to be coasting home. Bravo to the England team, they never gave up. Real, enthusiastic cricket fans turned up in their thousands. Sadly, the M.C.C members were not as bothered. They could have shown a bit more support.
