There are so many altcoin also that will give a high profit in long term like waves eth etc  that's why there are so many people interested investing  into it. It will give more % of profit sometimes than trading BTC to USD.
But with the oppotunity always have the risk when invest to altcoin and want a huge profit from it. Example: Ripple, Stellar, Digibyte, Siacoin ... are altcoin had pumped 500%-5000% and breakdown in June until today, if you invested when reach highest price, you will know that feeling Tongue
