TenX has now actually issued its VISA card which is intended to let consumers make ordinary purchases at coffee shops and elsewhere using a card backed by bitcoin or other digital assets.  

This video of an actual card holder showing how it works, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPzZwvEIGFc.  The Android App is very slick and promising, with an IPhone version to be released soon.  The video, the app, and the soon to be IPhone presence all make me a very optimistic TenX holder.
