You need to create a separate miner for each card. GUIminer has an option for this in the File Menu. If you do not use crossfire you will get better speeds, but you will either need a second monitor or a dummy plug to get Windows to recognize the other card outside of crossfire. (At least I think this is the issue, it isn't clear if you are already doing this.)

Since laptops don't pull too much wattage it may still be worth it to run a CPU miner like Ufasoft's Miner, though only if your electricity costs are very low.

You do not need OpenCL for Ufasoft's miner.
