Crazy, this happened to me yesterday with AllThingsLuxury. He said he is in contact with BitPay, but also told me to contact them to maybe speed up the recovery of the payment I sent. Haven't heard back from them yet either. 
I did a little searching and found a forum post of the silk road about someone losing 200BTC today from BitPay
