I am working on #4 with bether speed on low TDP rigs. Since my mod's are using more power, some users report no increase in the hashrate from #1-#3 because they limit the power. (by reducing the tdp of the cards)
If you buy a ferrari, do you drive below the speedlimit to save gas?
Running a 1080 on 100 watt is possible, but the speed in only 31MHASH. If you run@ 150 watt you get 36MHASH (sp-mod #3)
