ASICMINER won't consider changing anything unless the USBs aren't selling well as-is. Just wait it out if you aren't happy with the current offering, AM knows what to do.
I wasn't making the suggestion out of discontent - I was suggesting something I believe it would hugely benefit shareholders: solve logistical bottlenecks and increase product exposure.
Obviously it's not necessary to do so at this early stage, but when scaling up it could be useful to consider...
Realistically the problem isn't that we can't ship individual miners. The problem is just running auctions.
Someone just needs to make a dead simple website to handle this. Maybe make it tied to forum ID's for verification, and require escrow deposits for newbie members to bid. That's it. The process doesn't need to be difficult. I would do it but I'm working on something larger that will benefit Bitcoin more.
