Don't really see it as a split. BCC will fork of into a irrelevant altcoin. BTC will continue to grow.

True. But what is the real motive behind making a new coin out of BTC?
I think only few people cares about Bitcoin Cash since this soon to be altcoin have minority support and people are looking forward to earn more Bitcoin or fiat by dump Bitcoin Cash

Exactly, Bitcoin Cash will be totaly not relevant, just another altcoin that represents no competition at all to Bitcoin and it will not have important role but it could confuse people.
We will probably avoid spliting so Bitcoin could continue its successful way forward. No reason to worry at all, just keep your Bitcoins.
This is what we want. BCC is totallly a ripoff of bitcoin and no one wants a ripoff of the original. It will be irrelevant soon as people will just dump it anyways. We have reached this far that no one can ruin or stop bitcoin from moving forward to the future.
