The only press releases have been by the USA and their indictment documents and the Greek police announcement the rest and their is tons of it is just copy of the same.

Any lawyer would advise all accused parties to be quiet until full disclosure has been made and investigations into what the USA have, talks that are in no doubt taking place.

I think with btc-e only threated with a fine that has not been imposed is unlikely to shut down, just in the fine it gives weight to the btc-e being accepted as an exchange, not only crooks have money there many honest people do.
