I hate to comment on the previews since they are just previews, but is anyone else confused by the expression of a rate as a ratio?
Is 'rate' interest rate?
Is 1:100 1%?
Someone please explain.

Hold your horses. It is alpha version of the SW. There are mistakes (like the name Veritaseum) but that is the point of alpha releases. To iron out that kind of mistakes. So some GUI glitches shouldn't really be of any concern.
