I'm a bit confused, I know the domain has been seized but has btc-e actually gone into bankruptcy and will we have a way to claim any funds from them?

Too soon to really answer any of these questions

Well, how far the USA hands reach? https://btc-e.nz still in control. Even though, it is also cloudflare, which is a USA company. So anytime soon, it could be gone too.
btc-e.nz WHOIS return this :
Quote
Domain Status:
440 Request Denied
So it is not even possible to access it.

Also i don't know if some of you guys remember that btc-e used the domain btc-e.ru in the past. Right now this domain redirect to another platform almost similar to btc-e with the domain name : https://exmo.me/
May be this is where our lost funds/coins will end up ? I have the feeling that this site is linked to btc-e.

Bizarre how similar the API is, the trollbox wording "ban: User XXX has been banned for XXX minutes" and a $500 min chat limit..

Either they're directly related or it's a copycat, but btc-e only has two official domains: btc-e.com and btc-e.nz
