you lose the SHA256, and RIPEMD160 protections for that address, now only having ECDSA.

sure you could move your coins just before and after the snap shot, but I would expect they are ready for that.

Really? In the 8th round, ~7 months later is when they wanna start scamming, after several people have made a lot, lot of money from them by pumping and dumping their coins?
both iota and byteball have lost 60% ore worse of their price since 1 month ago, if any altcoins will increase in price after bitcoin drama, its these two. this aint investment advice, as Im not investor and any time I personally invest I loose
