Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

My friend's a high school computer teacher in Thailand and he conducts classes after school on blockchain tech. This is how he introduced bitcoin and other applications of blockchain to his students. He tells me that they are quite fascinated by it and some of them even want to become blockchain engineers.
I think that is super cool. I too am helping a friend design a blockchain course for his college-level students. He is more interested in Ethereum and so he'll teach his students to programme in Solidity.
