I'm trying to understand Waves a bit better. Could somebody give me a couple of real world situation where waves is the perfect coin to solve the problem?

Sorry if this is a newbie question, just wanted to learn more, and I sometimes find the amount of info overwhelming yet lacking sometimes... I need examples... I'm a simple man
