Yes, bitcoin has a bright future, provided that world governments don't ban and criminalise it. Somehow, I can relate bitcoin's case to that of marijuana's. 
It surely has a very bright future compare to any other coins. The image of bitcoin is already changing as other big companies are accepting and adopting it. Also there are rich countries that are adopting it too so no doubt that bitcoin has a very bright future and this will make the new era great as our new currency.
