I am running 19 gekkoscience 2pac ASIC on raspberry pi 2 model b through powered hub. Everything runs ok for a while but then after around 30 minutes the pi stops responding, I cannot reach it via ssh nor the web interface. I have to unplug and replug the power in order to restart it. How do I view the log to see what's causing the freeze issue?
my rpi freezes if i try to put too much power through the usb.. most likely your hub cant support 19 sticks and its trying to get more power from the usb than the pi can give it.
to fix this i used a middle powered usb hub.. so it goes like this,
piusb>powerhub>powerhub with sticks.
.......................>powerhub with sticks.
I have tried doing the same setup as you mentioned but it still freezes in that setup.
I have even tried lowering the frequency down to 100mhz but it's not helping as well.
