So I just launched Armory again after being away for a 4 day weekend and it launched very quickly, especially considering how many blocks would have been generated since the last time I had it open. I didn't see a transaction I sent to my Armory wallet from another wallet on Sunday but then I realized that it's only at 477702 blocks which makes sense in some ways but after having armory open for about 15 mins now that number hasn't changed at all... it does seem that bitcoind is consuming some resources so I'm going to just let it sit for a while / overnight and see what happens....
My question: Since it seems that Armory no longer waits until the chain is up to date to hit the dashboard does it just immediately show the current block and then not update the block number at all until the entire chain is synced.
I do see a line in the log file that raises my eyebrow tho:
2017-08-01 00:57:20 (WARNING) -- ArmoryQt.py:4082 - Called updateSyncProgress while not sync'ing
I suspect this is just a GUI thing?
