How will it work in practice for the tokenization of real securities?

Eg how will SP500 be investable in? Someone will buy 1000 shares of a SP500 ETF, tokenize them and sell them?
Who would actually do the tokenization and what incentive do they have to do it?

Are Brickblock just going to build the platform or will they also provide some things to invest in, and how will that work?

Intrigued by idea if it can be made work. It seems to be like regulatory things  (rather than technological challenges) will be huge

Hi Wexfgy12,

Everything on our platform is done automatically with smart contracts. We are building a very easy to use UI that will make trading on the blockchain accessible to everyone.

Here is a graphic showing how the tokenization process works:

As a user, to buy an S&P 500 ETF all you have to do is pay the price offered by the fund manager/broker on our platform in Ether. Then you receive your proof of asset token only once the fund manager has deposited the ETF in the digital trust fund. This protects you against any counter party risk. There are however many more details that are all explained in the technical whitepaper.

Here is another excerpt from our technical whitepaper:

We are building the platform, and also our own Coin Funds. This is also explained in the technical whitepaper. ETFs and Real estate funds will be offered by fund managers and brokers who have been vetted by third parties.

We are compliant with all regulations, which we achieve through a lot of work with our team of lawyers and advisers.

I invite you to read our technical whitepaper to learn more: https://www.brickblock.io/files/Brickblock_Technical_Whitepaper_v093.pdf
