now the miners seem to be putting in shares but not getting any excepted shares. i'm not even able to get to the pepe stats page at

Sorry for that, the submitted shares are save in the DB and will count towards your total - the PepeCoin daemon is not able to validate newly found and submitted blocks. Its an issue we are working on and will be resolved soon. Thanks for your understanding.
