Can't complain ended up with both so it really is a win win situation lot of fuss over nothing.   Now we have 2 coins.. One looking for on chain development and solutions to the issues and the other looking into offchain solutions IE lightning networks ect.  So really we now have a split vision for it and have a choice on which we prefer.
