Yes in fact the price can go even higher, I will not be surprised if bitcoin came close to the 4000 dollars, bitcoin has too much potential and with segwit activation people are going to begin to use bitcoin once again as a currency to make micro payments so trade will augment and with it the necessity for bitcoin and when the demand goes up then the price does the same.
